More than 1,600 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in the Raleigh-Durham area, in Butner, N.C., on April 21.

Bidders came from 38 countries, including 49 U.S. states. Approximately 78 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Hong Kong, Singapore and Vietnam. Online bidders purchased approximately 68 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

The auction featured more than 975 equipment items, including more than 30 trailers, 25 excavators, 25 dozers and 25 transport trucks, as well as a selection of farm tractors, wheel loaders, loader backhoes and more. For more information, please visit www.rbauction.com.
