Petrowsky Auctioneers Inc. held a major two-day equipment auction June 26 and 27 at its New England base on 275 Route 32, North Franklin, Conn. Equipment of every shape and size was auctioned off in lots derived from Casella Construction Inc., Patriot Environmental Corp., A & M Recycling & Mulch Sales Inc., other area contractors, earth material manufacturers, heavy equipment and truck dealers, wholesalers and rental companies.

Lot after lot of construction, earth moving, site development, crushing and screening equipment, trucks, trailers, cars, motorcycles and related parts filled the grounds as hundreds came to bid in person and online, nationally and internationally.

“Welcome! We cannot encourage you enough to please bid and don’t bid late,” said Sam Petrowsky in his greeting to buyers. “We appreciate your coming here. We appreciate it greatly. Thank you very much and good luck to each and every one of you.”

Nearly 1,500 different lot items went up for sale.

Petrowsky also mentioned upcoming summer auctions in Benton, Ga., Cambridge and Ohio, Fla., and Virginia before resuming new auctions in the fall back in North Franklin, Conn.

Petrowsky is supervising a one-owner auction in Manchester, Vt., on July 18 and another one-owner auction in Benton, Ga., on Aug. 13.
