More than 2,000 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Chicago, Ill., on July 30.

Bidders came from 35 countries, including 49 U.S. states. Approximately 63 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers from as far away as Poland, Nigeria and India. Online bidders purchased approximately 48 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

More than 1450 equipment items and trucks were sold in the auction, including excavators, wheel loaders, cranes, truck tractors, lifting and material handling equipment and more.
