South Plainfield equipment dealer JESCO has recently been purchased by Jon Robustelli from his father Lou. Lou will remain a part of the business as a consultant. Jon is now the president of JESCO, he previously had been the vice president. Cris Robustelli, Lou’s eldest son also is involved in the family business serving as the company’s MIS manager.

Since the transition of ownership, not much has changed in the daily operation of JESCO. One noticeable change, however, is the redesign of JESCO’s corporate logo and the addition of a new slogan. The new logo maintains the original JESCO name, but gives it a fresh new look in an effort to signify the change of management while showcasing that it remains in the family, according to the company.

The new slogan tucked underneath the logo, “Down-to-Earth Equipment People,” was developed to explain to existing and potential customers how JESCO likes to work with its customers.

Jon Robustelli has implemented an aggressive growth strategy that will combine the staff’s more than 561 years of experience in the equipment industry with its products and services to help them gain market share throughout New Jersey.

JESCO was founded in 1971 by Lou Robustelli and was originally named Jersey Equipment Sales Company, prior to being shortened to JESCO. For more than 30 years, JESCO has been supplying customers in New Jersey with quality construction equipment and parts and service.

In 1972, JESCO began to carry John Deere products and has since grown into one of the largest John Deere dealers in the country. It also carries Bomag rollers and attachments from Geith, JRB, Wain-Roy, Woods and Indeco.

With three conveniently-located branches, in North (Fairfield), Central (South Plainfield) and South Jersey (Lumberton), a large inventory of parts and machinery and a full fleet of service vehicles, JESCO ensures that its customers’ equipment stays in top condition.
