George Maranuk of Western Reserve Trading, Youngstown, Ohio, who was buying for Jerry Alexander of Alexander Equipment Rental, Bourbonnais, Ill., had the top bid. “I have a few other military items and I just always wanted a tank,” Alexander said, who plans to keep it indoors at his equipment rental business facility and move it outside in nice weather. Having Interstate frontage on I-57, Alexander feels this machine will definitely draw attention to his aerial lifts when he parks it beside them near the interstate.
