For the second straight year, exhibit space has sold out for The Rental Show. In 2014, the trade show will have a greater number of exhibitors, a larger show floor and an increased number of first-time exhibitors.
There will be more than 675 exhibitors in Orlando, Fla., next February at The Rental Show, which is an increase of 10 percent over 2013. Of the 2014 exhibitors, more than 80 will be brand-new to the show.
The first-time exhibitors cover all three trade show departments — construction/ industrial, general tool/homeowner and party/special event — and will be displaying products such as generators, access equipment, pumps, drywall equipment, tools, lawn and garden equipment, software, furniture, games, dinnerware, centerpieces and more.
In addition to what's offered from these first-time companies, many exhibitors debut new products at The Rental Show each year. More than 120 companies have submitted products for inclusion in The Hot List, the special supplement featuring the latest rental products that is distributed with the January issue of Rental Management and available on site in Orlando.
Show-Only specials are another offering from exhibitors, with more than 60 companies signing up to offer specials to date and more companies to come. Show-Only specials are incentives for purchasing that are available just to attendees at The Rental Show, a benefit many attendees take advantage of each year.
“Whether it's free freight or an extra 5 percent off or something else, every year I save enough with the show-only specials to pay for my trip to The Rental Show,” said Mike Baartman of Rent-All in Sioux Center, Iowa.
