Talbert Manufacturing Inc. recognized Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel of Voorhees, N.J., as its top dealer in overall sales performance, and parts and service support. The award was presented to Hale at the 2010 Mid-America Truck Show held in Louisville, Ky.

Hale Trailer operates 14 locations along the east coast from Maine to Florida — with each site offering sales, rental, immediate parts availability, repairs and maintenance, and a variety of onsite specialty services. This is the company’s second year in a row as the top Talbert dealer. Owner Barry Hale founded his organization in 1975. He attributes his success to diversification into four business areas: service, parts, rentals and sales — new and used.

“We believe in the philosophy of having plenty of inventory on hand. We are a market player who provides the customer with what they need — when they need it,” said Hale, whose company maintains a multi-million dollar inventory of new and used trailers, and aftermarket parts; and a significant fleet of trailers available for immediate rental or lease.

Several years ago, Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel had acquired the assets of Atlantic Trailer & Equipment Sales Inc. of Sewell, N.J. Atlantic had been a top Talbert dealer for more than 17 years. Upon the acquisition, former Atlantic Trailer Owner Bill Fryer joined the sales team at Hale Trailer.

“It’s been a long and successful relationship with Talbert Manufacturing and we value their innovation,” said Fryer. “Both Hale and Talbert employ many talented individuals with considerable expertise in the transport industry. For example, we consider our Talbert factory representative, Russ Losh, as one of the best in the business due to his veteran experience in both sales and engineering,” added Fryer.

“We are proud to honor Hale Trailer as our top dealer. Their continued excellence is a testament to their skilled personnel and their dedication to serving the widest variety of specialized transport industries,” said Greg D. Smith, vice president of sales and marketing of Talbert Manufacturing.
