Thomas Equipment has introduced its new model 35 Series tracked mini-skid steer loader.

The 35DT features an enclosed drive system, integrated, large volume fuel and hydraulic oil reservoirs as well as a larger operator compartment.

The 35DT track drive features a longer wheelbase and increased wrap around the drive sprockets to reduce the possibility of slippage or ratcheting.

The ride-on loader’s 9-in. (23 cm) rubber tracks are designed to provide smooth operation, increased flotation and maximum traction while keeping the operator high and dry regardless of the terrain.

The 35DT is powered by a Kubota diesel engine which puts out more than 25 hp (18.6 kW).

Its 2,200 lb. (998 kg) breakout force, combined with 11.5 gpm (43.5 Lpm) hydraulic output and multi speed range capability of up to 4.4 mph (7.1 kmh) ensures quick work cycles and maximum productivity.

The loader is equipped with a universal quick-tach system for versatility and standard self-leveling keeps the bucket or an attachment such as pallet forks level throughout the boom lift and lower cycles, helping decrease material spillage.

The 35DT features precise one hand steering and single joystick control of the loader’s boom and bucket.

The 35DT’s hydraulic system allows the operator to direct power where it is needed most, to the traction drive or hydraulic system.

The loader’s standard combiner valve coupled with variable flow control provides precise metering of the hydraulic output flow.

When trenching, for example, the operator can direct most of the hydraulic flow to the trencher while maintaining “inching” capability to the drive.

In addition, the loader is equipped with two boom-mounted auxiliary hydraulic circuits.

One circuit is designed to operate attachments such as grapples, dozers and breakers. The second auxiliary circuit is equipped with a motor spool and designed to operate motorized attachments such as sweepers and snow blowers while protecting them from shock loads and damage.
