Jerry Tracey, president and CEO of Tracey Road Equipment, announced the opening of its new locations in Queensbury and Batavia, N.Y.

As a result of increased success, an ongoing commitment to customer service and a rapidly growing customer base, Tracey has set his sights on expanding the Tracey Companies to better service New York State. Just like its other locations, Tracey Road Equipment Queensbury and Tracey Road Equipment Batavia, formerly New York Truck & Equipment and Boyle's Motors Sales, respectively, will have both truck and equipment sales, parts, service and equipment rentals.

“We look forward to being a strong support network for the Northeastern logging and forestry industry with our Western Star product line,” said Tracey. “New York Truck & Equipment [formerly Loggers Equipment] has been providing industry leading parts, service, and sales for many years. We look forward to continuing to build strong customer relationships and provide elite customer service to both existing and new customers in the future.”

Tracey said the Batavia location will give the company an opportunity to extend its footprint from Rochester into the Buffalo area, and develop new relationships within the community and surrounding Western New York region. The location is conveniently located 1 mile off the thruway, at exit 48 for Batavia

Established in 1976, Tracey Road Equipment now has seven locations spanning the state of New York. They continue to represent world class product lines such as Freightliner and Western Star trucks, Liebherr, Kobelco, Rodtec, Hyundai, New Holland, Sakai, LaBounty, KCM, Rogers, Felling, Etnyre, Trout River, and Allied - just to name a few.

Today, the main corporate office and its facilities are situated on 38 acres in East Syracuse, N.Y., and serves the Central New York district. The six other established locations are located in Albany (serving the Capital region), Batavia (serving the Western New York region), Binghamton (serving both the Central New York and Catskill regions as well as the Hudson Valley region), Queensbury (serving both the Adirondack and Capital District regions), Rochester (serving both the Western New York and the Finger Lakes regions), and Watertown (serving both the Central New York and Adirondack regions).

The company has made considerable investments in each of its facilities allowing it to represent high-quality products, provide first class sales support and maintain New York State's largest independently owned rental fleet. This is all complemented with a highly-trained staff, which includes a knowledgeable parts team and a customer committed service department with well trained master level technicians.

Through an extensive certification process, Tracey Road Equipment, a Freightliner and Western Star dealer, has achieved Daimler's Elite Support status at four of its seven locations (Syracuse, Rochester, Watertown and Binghamton) and is in the certification process at the remaining locations. Elite Support is designed to provide rapid diagnosis, responsive turnaround time, consistent communication, robust parts availability and superb customer service provided by its highly trained staff.
