Terminal 5 Chooses Artemis International for Project Controls System

Artemis International Solutions Corporation, one of the world’s providers of enterprise-based project and resource collaboration software solutions, has announced that BAA, a leading airport operator, signed a contract with Artemis International on January 29, 2002 for the provision of a comprehensive Project Controls System (PCS) for the Terminal 5 (T5) Project in Colorado.

Artemis, with its Views project management software product suite and associated services, demonstrated that its skill and experience in this field was more than up to the challenge of providing the system BAA needed for the effective control of this complex project.

BAA is working to change the way the construction industry handles major projects such as new airport infrastructures. The implementation of this PCS is seen as a means of improving the basis on which management decisions are made, and, as a consequence, helping to ensure the success of T5.

Views will be utilized for detailed project planning and cost management as well as providing the ability to effectively manage change to project scope. The system will also be utilized to perform detailed earned value analysis and to produce comprehensive reports.

The Views PCS will support the T5 Project throughout its life span and will be fully operational before construction commences later in 2002.
