More than 1,250 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Pittsburgh, Pa., on May 20.

Bidders came from 44 countries, including 47 U.S. states. More than 65 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Ethiopia, Honduras and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased 59 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).
