Associated Builders and Contractors Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter (ABC) presented 34 awards to outstanding commercial construction projects at its 21st annual Merit Construction Awards of Excellence Banquet Nov. 16, 2011, at the Radisson Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pa.
“With a commitment to quality, value, safety and training, ABC members build a variety of projects that enhance the landscape of eastern Pennsylvania,” said Mike Bennett, ABC chairman and vice president of estimating at E. Allen Reeves Inc. “High-quality construction builds high-quality communities by increasing opportunities and creating jobs. Our members should be proud of their accomplishments that make this region a better place to live and improve the quality of life for everyone.”
Industry professionals representing a cross-section of architects, engineers, commercial real-estate owners, developers and industry leaders visited each project to evaluate the entries and determine the award winners. Nearly 50 projects entered the 2011 competition and 34 awards were presented Nov. 16, including:
