Alex Lyon & Son Conducts Late-Model Fleet Sale in Fort Worth

A huge selection of excavators went up for sale at the Fort Worth auction, including Komatsu, Doosan and Caterpillar.

Frank Penner of Frank’s Plumbing in Montezuma, Kan., traveled to the auction in hopes of buying a skid steer.

Several late-model Mack dump trucks went up for sale, and Alonzo Luna of Luna’s Trucking hoped to snag at least one. Luna operates out of Fort Worth.

No auction in the western half of the United States is complete without Joe Rexin in attendance. Rexin owns Rexin Equipment in Long Beach, Calif. His company sells and maintains a huge inventory of used equipment and also carries the SANY line of excavators.

Chris Craven of Craven Roofing in Burleson, Texas, showed a lot of interest in the selection of generators, including this Sullair 185.

Alex Lyon & Son welcomed customers to an auction on May 16 at its facility on Hicks Field Road in Fort Worth, Texas.

The auction featured late model rental equipment from Herc Rentals and Ahern Rentals, including forklifts, skid steers, aerials, truck tractors, Mack dump trucks and attachments. Manufacturers included Caterpillar, Case, Doosan, Komatsu, Link-Belt and more.
