The Austin and San Antonio area Associated Supply Company (ASCO) presented The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & South Texas with a check for $15,000. ASCO collected donations from customers and employees at the Austin, San Antonio and Belton ASCO locations over past several months.

With the donation of one dollar, the donor received a star and helped make wishes come true for local children.

“We are most grateful for this generous gift from ASCO, its employees and it customers,” said Glenn E. West, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & South Texas. “ASCO is a wonderful corporate partner for us helping to grant the wishes of several very special children in central and south Texas.”

This effort is part of a larger relationship with Make-A-Wish Foundation and ASCO locations in Texas. In all, employees of ASCO in Texas and New Mexico raised and donated funds matched by the company to raise more than $85,000 for the foundation. All donations directly help children with life-threatening medical conditions receive their one true heartfelt wish.
