Austin Meehan Jr. Passes at Age 82

Austin A. Meehan Jr. died Dec. 10 at the age of 82.

Mr. Meehan was the husband of Mary P. (nee Norton) and the father of Maureen Halligan (Bob), Austin A. III (Maureen), Kathleen Ciolko (Edward), Maripat McKenna (Edward), Joseph (Debra), Daniel (Erica), Brian and Meghan Hannum (Dan). He was the grandfather of 20. The son of the late Austin A. and Dorothy Meehan, Mr. Meehan also is survived by his sister Dorothy Wackerman and brother Andrew Meehan; many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Meehan was chairman of the board of the General Asphalt Paving Company and former board member of the Contractors Association of Eastern Pennsylvania.
