Bidders From More Than 50 Countires Vie for Iron During Ritchie’s North East, Md., Sale

More than 1,900 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in North East, Md., on June 5.

Bidders came from more than 50 countries, including all 50 U.S. states. More than 85 percent of the equipment was sold to buyers outside the state, from as far away as Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased more than 38 percent of the equipment sold.

The auction featured more than 1,600 equipment items and trucks, including wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, articulated dump trucks, crawler tractors, motorgraders and truck tractors.
