Bobcat New HB1180 Hydraulic Breaker Attachment

Construction Equipment Guide

The Bobcat Company offers compact equipment operators the new HB1180 hydraulic breaker attachment to smash through more concrete faster.

The HB1180 hydraulic breaker attachment meets the 750 ft.-lb. (1017 nm) impact energy class with its hard-hitting capabilities. It is approved for use on Bobcat skid steer loaders (models S220 through S300), compact track loaders (models T250 through T300), the A300 all-wheel steer loader, and compact excavators (models 337, 341, and 435).

The attachment joins other Bobcat hydraulic breaker attachment models such as the HB680, HB880, and HB980, which are intended for concrete and general demolition work.

The HB1180’s new internal design has fewer moving parts to reduce overall service time.

The product’s auto power feature is an automatic pressure regulator that ensures maximum performance of the hydraulic breaker, regardless of tool carrier hydraulic flow variations or changes in outdoor temperature. This means that each hydraulic breaker attachment delivers an impact blow within a vast flow range of carriers.

The auto power feature also limits excessive pressure at the time of start-up. As a result, the energy chamber diaphragm is protected, allowing for longer service life.

The energy chamber diaphragm allows the nitrogen pressure to remain constant, so the breaker performance remains constant. No periodic recharging is required, thus the breaker is virtually maintenance-free and operational as soon as it’s mounted to the carrier.

Bobcat hydraulic breakers mount with Bob-Tach and X-Change attachment mounting systems and can be used on a multitude of Bobcat machines, including mini track loaders, skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, all-wheel steer loaders, and compact excavators.
