Bostik Findley Inc., a global manufacturer of adhesives, sealants and lubricants, has promoted Paul Gallagher to the newly created position of business development manager, international and retail, for the company’s Construction and Distribution Division (C&D).

Richard A. D’Autilio, director of sales and marketing for the division, made the announcement recently.

Effective Jan. 1, Gallagher assumed responsibility for all export, affiliate and retail sales in the Americas for the C&D division.

Gallagher joined Bostik Findley in 1985 as a sales representative and has held various sales management positions. He most recently directed the national sales effort for the flooring group.

Among his primary responsibilities, Gallagher will concentrate on international growth opportunities for Bostik Findley’s construction and distribution division, establishing a strategic direction for business sectors and coordinating business development efforts. According to the company, Gallagher will focus on market opportunities through organic growth, acquisitions and a global sales strategy.

Bostik Findley also has promoted Michael F. Hoban to national sales manager supervising the company’s industrial, construction and insulating glass products businesses.

Hoban joined Bostik Findley in 1997 as product manager for the company’s line of insulating glass sealants. He most recently held the position of industry manager for the insulating glass sealants group.

In his new position, Hoban will direct all sales efforts for the newly integrated business segments of the C&D Division.

According to the company, Hoban’s expanded sales managerial role facilitates Bostik Findley’s development and implementation of a North American sales strategy, designed to sustain the double-digit growth of the division’s adhesives, sealants and insulating glass sealants product lines.

Prior to joining Bostik Findley, Hoban held sales positions at Loctite Corp., Rocky Hill, CT; Courtlauds Aerospace; and PRC Corporation, both in Glendale, CA.
