Bramco recently held an open house event at the company's newly launched The Rebuild Center division, located at Bramco's headquarters location in Louisville, Kentucky. The event was attended by both Brandeis and Power Equipment customers as well as manufacturing representatives from the company's equipment lines and was held to showcase the operation's capabilities.

Spearheaded by Garratt Dykes, The Rebuild Center director, the division operates as a distinct business unit within Bramco and has a dedicated facility in Louisville. The facility features 18,650 sq. ft. of workspace outfitted with overhead cranes, an engine dynamometer, hydraulic test stand, press and it is fully equipped with line boring and expert welding capabilities. The company's paint facility also is put into service for The Rebuild Center. As Dykes, who started with Brandeis as a shop foreman, explains it, for contractors seeking alternatives to replacing aging machines, a rebuild — when done correctly — is an extremely cost effective and viable solution.

The Rebuild Center offers three levels of service for a wide variety of construction, material handling and mining equipment with all work conducted by a staff of eight trained technicians.
