The Case 1150K crawler dozer features a hydrostatic transmission, a new cab design, a low effort electronic blade control and high-performance hydraulics for blade speed, blade force and control. The Tier III-certified dozer also features the same tapered hood and cowl design featured on the Case 650K, 750K and 850K crawler dozers for visibility to the blade.

Hydrostatic Drive

The high-performance hydrostatic drive is the key to productivity on the 1150K dozer, according to the manufacturer.

Case PowerStat components are designed for the high horsepower needed to push the fullest blades, reducing the number of passes needed to move material. The easy operating controls boost productivity and make the 1150K ideal for residential and commercial construction, utility, roads and bridges and rental applications.

The Case Extended Life Track (CELT) undercarriage provides increased durability and life in abrasive conditions.

Quiet, Comfortable Cab

The ergonomically designed operator platform provides visibility to the work site, and a narrow, modular dashboard gives the operator a direct line of sight to the cutting edge. The cab is isolation mounted from the main frame to cushion against noise and vibration, providing a comfortable ride and increased productivity. The deluxe cab features heat and air conditioning for year-round, climate-controlled comfort.

Low Effort Blade Control

To further enhance productivity, the 1150K features low effort electronic blade control for simultaneous, multifunction control. The operator can pitch the blade depending on the material he is working in. The high-performance blade hydraulics feature large pump/cylinders that deliver speed and power for optimum control and blade force.

The tapered hood and cowl on the 1150K provides visibility to the blade to gauge material flow under the blade.

The 1150K features a six-cylinder, 6.7-L turbocharged Case Family IV engine with electronic fuel injection for maximum fuel efficiency. It’s rated at 118 net hp (88 kW).

Operating weights on the 1150K are 27,858 lbs. (12,636 kg) on the extra long track (XLT) configuration, 28,667 lbs. (13,003 kg) on the wide track (WT) configuration and 29,365 lbs. (13,320 kg) on the low ground pressure (LGP) configuration.

The XLT configuration is ideal for precision grading and increased flotation. The WT configuration provides extra stability and accommodates wider blades for finish grading or slope work. The LGP configuration maximizes flotation for applications requiring lower ground pressure.

To add to the versatility of the 1150K dozer, a number of attachments are available for a variety of applications, including winches, forestry guarding, laser blade control and rippers.
