Reliable Tractor, based in Tifton, GA, recently announced the promotion of Adam Cargle to the position of machinery manager and the addition of Lester Hastings as the Tifton, GA, branch service manager.

Cargle has been with Reliable for only a short amount of time. This promotion is a direct result of proven sales success and his aptitude for the equipment business, according to the company.

Cargle will be responsible for machine inventories at all three Reliable Tractor locations. Cargle said that his knowledge of construction and agricultural machines stems from growing up working on his family’s farm and through his relatives logging business.

Hastings also grew up in the farming business and has been around machinery his entire life.

Hastings brings with him 18 years of experience in the agricultural business and 20 years in the construction equipment business, where he started his career as a technician.

Before joining Reliable, Hastings worked for Briggs, the Case dealer in Savannah, where he was the service manager and also served as the company’s branch manager prior to his departure. He holds service certifications with all the major manufacturers of heavy equipment.

According to the company, Hastings’ experience is a great match for Reliable Tractor as the company sells and services both construction and agricultural machines.

“I’m enjoying my new challenge at Reliable of coordinating service work on both ag and construction equipment,” said Hastings. “The ownership and staff here are just a great bunch of people to work for.”
