Casey Equipment, celebrating its 35th anniversary, expanded its coverage of northern Illinois with the July 1 opening of the company’s Rockford branch.
The 8,400-sq.-ft. facility is situated on 4 acres of land at 1548 Huntwood Dr. in Cherry Valley, IL, just outside of Rockford. With five service bays and a large parts department, the site is well on its way to being fully operational.
“This will be a totally independent facility providing parts, services and sale and rental equipment,” said Jim Cox, president of Casey Equipment. “We are expanding our presence geographically and have great support from our manufacturers.”
Along with the company’s Arlington Heights, IL, and Lemont, IL, locations, Casey Equipment has positioned itself well in the growing northern Illinois region.
“Interstate 90 connects Chicago to Madison [WI],” said Cox. “There’s a lot of homebuilding and development along that corridor, and with this location we’ll continue to take advantage of it.”
Equipment from JCB, Dynapac, Trail King, BTI Breakers, JRB and Badger is available at the Rockford facility.
Casey Equipment also celebrated the 30th anniversary of its relationship with JCB, making it JCB’s oldest North American dealer. JCB manufactures a full line of construction equipment, from skid steers and minis to exacavators and wheel loaders.
“We have committed partnerships with all of our manufacturers to increase our presence and we intend on aggressively bringing their products to the market,” said Cox.
