The auctioneer rattled off numbers and the assistants looked for bidding cards as the pieces of equipment were driven past. Ben Malo, Malo Construction, Veazie, Maine, brought his son, Kaleb,2, to the first day of the two-day sale at Central Maine Auction Center. Bruce Hogan (L) and Stephen Dale, both of Dale Enterprises, took the long drive from New Brunswick, Canada, to peruse the hundreds of lots of heavy equipment for sale. Central Maine Auction Center is a family business with more than 30 years of experience and consists of a 15-acre facility. (L-R): Ethan O’Leary, H.E. These excavators were aligned in a perfect row for prospective bidders to preview before the start of the 10:30 a.m. sale. Brothers Gene and Jamie Green, W.H. Green and & Sons, Augusta, Maine, took some time away from their busy schedules as owners of a crane company to visit the sale. Shawn Burke, LaGrange, Maine, kept his shades on and wore a smile while previewing a 2007 Hyundai Robex excavator.

Central Maine Auction Center, Hermon, Maine, hosted a complete bank liquidation auction for Thibodeau Construction on June 11 and 12.

The well-attended event featured hundreds of lots of heavy equipment such as rollers, dozers, excavators and trucks of many types.
