Chesapeake Supply Moves Into New Digs in Felton, DE

In mid-May, Chesapeake Supply & Equipment Co. officially moved from its former facility in Dover, DE, into its new digs in Felton, DE.

The move represents the company’s goal to be much more centrally located for all its customers in the Diamond State

“We were right in the middle of downtown Dover and we just didn’t have the exposure there that we’ll have in Felton,” explained Dave Goulet, branch manager of Chesapeake Supply’s new Felton branch. “This new location is right on major Route 13, which will provide much easier access to us and our equipment yard for our customers.”

The new 10,000-sq-ft. facility, which sits on a 5-acre lot, is significantly larger than the company’s former branch in Dover, with more than two-thirds of the building dedicated to the shop, which, according to Goulet, is three times larger than it was before.

Founded in 1936, Chesapeake Supply & Equipment, which also has a branch in Savage, MD, handles Daewoo excavators, ASV rubber track loaders, LaBounty shears, Kent hammers, Etnyre trailers, Crafco sealants, and, new to the company for its Delaware customers, the Toro Dingo line of compact utility loaders, including the TX 425 wide track
