Mashable reports that NetDragon chairman Liu DeJian is such an “uberTrekkie” (uberTrekker?) that he laid a fat wad of cash ($160 million) to have the building constructed in the ship’s likeness after making a deal with CBS, which, along with Paramount, owns Trek’s licensing rights. The slick new digs for NetDragon were constructed between 2008 and 2014.
As Mashable points out, the architectural homage becomes more apparent when viewed from an aerial vantage point on Google Maps.
