Charles A. “Chuck” Restivo Jr., age 57, of Lockport, NY, husband of Carol Bowers Restivo, died on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at home.
He was born in Lockport, NY, on May 29, 1947.
Mr. Restivo was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, serving his country from 1964 to 1969. He was president and owner-operator of a family business, Niagara Frontier Equipment Sales Inc., in Wrights Corners.
He also was part owner of Pro-Am Golf Course in Newfane, where he was active in designing and building the course.
A member of St. Bridget R.C. Church, Lockport; Elks; American Legion; Lockport VFW; and past member of Newfane Lions Club, Mr. Restivo loved to travel and golf, and enjoyed time with his family and many good friends.
He was the father of Charles A Restivo III, of Lockport, NY, and Gregory A. Restivo, of Asheville, NC; the son of Felicia “Phyl” Restivo, of Wrights Corners and the late Charles A. Restivo Sr.; the brother of Charlene (Patrick) Abarelli, of St. Augustine, FL; Michael (Karen) Restivo, of Las Vegas, NV; Thomas (Joann) Restivo, of Wrights Corners; and Robert (Patricia) Restivo, of North Towanda, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Bridget R. C. Church, Ewings Road, Newfane, NY; burial was in Cold Spring Cemetery, Lockport, NY.
Memorials to Roswell Cancer Institute or Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
