William M. Kleinfelder, a project manager of Cianbro Corporation, has recently joined the board of directors of the Baltimore Metro Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). With more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Kleinfelder is a seven-year Cianbro veteran responsible for managing multiple electrical projects throughout the company’s Mid-Atlantic operating region.
Kleinfelder currently serves on the Maryland Apprenticeship and Training Council. He is especially interested in ABC’s activities involving education and workforce development.
“At Cianbro, we are dedicated to the advancement of the construction industry and committed to the growth and development of our people,” said Kleinfelder. “Serving on the ABC board of directors is a personal honor for me, as well as an opportunity to give back to our industry.”
Kleinfelder added, “In particular, I believe it is critical for young people entering the construction industry to receive the absolute best training available. ABC, working with community colleges and technical schools, can achieve that goal. I am pleased to have the opportunity to help.”
Mike Henderson, ABC’s Baltimore Metro Chapter president, said, “Cianbro’s Bill Kleinfelder is an outstanding leader in construction. A far-sighted professional, Bill promotes education and training within the industry. We look forward to the benefits of Bill’s experience. He will be a great influence.”

He is passionate about mentoring our future workforce. Bill contributes to the success of our company and this industry everyday. We are proud to have him serve on the ABC board of directors.”
