Construction Equipment Guide

The second to last 2004 Perimeter Bobcat Open House and Bobcat Equipment Rodeo took place on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 20 and 21, at the company’s headquarters in Norcross, GA.

As with the other events held earlier this year, the Norcross open house featured Bobcat and Ingersoll-Rand product displays and demonstrations, discounts on parts, giveaways, Bob-Care clinics and plenty of food hot of the grill.

Manufacturer representatives from Bobcat, Ingersoll-Rand and Loegering kept the product information flowing. Ingersoll-Rand representatives brought two of their company’s newest products: the IR WL-350 wheel loader and the IR ZX-125 excavator, both of which will be showing up on distributors yards soon.

Adding to the excitement, Perimeter held its equipment rodeo. Mitchell Pankey of Cowboy Grading, Dallas, GA, won both the skid steer loader and the mini excavator events and was rewarded with a new set of Loegering tracks and a hydraulic clamp attachment. Every rodeo contestant was entered to win use of a Bobcat Toolcat 5600 for one year, a prize that will be awarded in October at the conclusion of the company’s last 2004 open house in Lake City, GA.
