Becky Fallin, president of RHL Insulation and Contractors Association of Will and Grundy Counties (CAWGC) scholarship chair, has announced that two scholarships have been awarded this year.
Justin Anderson, a graduate of Coal City High School, has been awarded his second CAWGC scholarship. Anderson, who has studied for three years at North Central College, will transfer this year to Bradley University, where he will continue his studies in mechanical engineering. His parents are Mary and Chris Anderson, who are both employed at Anderson Concrete, a CAWGC member.
Austin Naal, a 2012 graduate of Joliet Catholic Academy, also has received a CAWGC scholarship. Naal will be majoring in mechanical engineering and will be attending the University of Illinois. His parents are Micki and John Naal, who are employed at Naal Plumbing & Heating, a CAWGC member.
“Both of these young men are very smart and very deserving of these scholarships,” Fallin said. “To date, the CAWGC has awarded over $81,000 to deserving scholars who have pursued degrees in the construction field.”
Marsha Rolih, Pierro Quality Construction, and Neta VanDuyne, CR Leonard Plumbing, also served on the scholarship committee with Fallin.
