McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company, recently appointed Jesus Crespo to lead its new concrete mixers business unit and Jim McReynolds as leader of the customer support solutions business unit.
In his new role as vice president and general manager, concrete mixers, Crespo will lead all initiatives of the business unit, including product development, marketing and production. He will ensure that McNeilus mixers continue to lead the industry in reliability, performance and quality, while meeting customer needs.
As vice president and general manager of the customer support solutions business unit, McReynolds, will work closely with Crespo to lead customer service operations; utilizing the Street Smart line of offerings including parts, service, technical support, regional facilities and training.
The appointments of Crespo and McReynolds support a new corporate structure that includes three distinct business units — concrete mixers, customer support solutions (formerly aftermarket parts and service) and refuse collection vehicles — to simplify its business and align resources to deliver world-class performance to its customers.
“This new organizational structure allows the company to leverage decades of experience and renew our focus on delivering specific products and services that are vital to the success of our customers,” said Brad Nelson, McNeilus senior vice president and president, commercial. “We have equipped each of these three business units with the resources necessary to ensure their independence and success through end-to-end accountability. These resources include human resources, finance, sales, marketing and operations functions.”
Crespo brings more than 20 years of experience in several manufacturing organizations to his new position. Most recently he served as vice president and general manager of the global appliance division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW). His professional experience demonstrates a successful track record of business performance and customer focus.
A four-year member of the commercial team at McNeilus, McReynolds most recently worked as vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to joining McNeilus, he spent more than 30 years in various leadership roles with Caterpillar, including his last role as president of Caterpillar's global paving business.
