Family-owned Blackmon Auctions of Arkansas has spanned three generations. Founded by Eddie Blackmon Sr. in 1938, the company has grown to include employees with an average of 15 to 25 years of service. Today, Thomas Blackmon Jr. is president of the company, following in his father's footsteps. He makes it a point to attend every auction.

Selling Through Blackmon Auctions
In the last 20 years, Blackmon Auctions has conducted more than 500 sales, selling more than $1 billion worth of equipment and related items. Sales can be held at either Blackmon facility or an auction can be conducted at the client's location. Commission is fairly based on the industry standard. Blackmon will schedule, catalogue, market and conduct all sales for its clients.
Blackmon Auctions Sales
All sales are open to the public, whether in person or online. Customers can purchase items at a Blackmon Auctions sale on location or online. All sales are final and equipment is sold as is. Buyers assume all risks when bidding on an item. Payment is required the day of the sale. Blackmon Auctions advises its customers to read the terms for each auction, as every sale is subject to different terms. Items that can change from sale to sale include buyer's commission and check out procedures.
Blackmon Auctions uses Proxibid for those wishing to purchase online. Once registered, online bidders will be issued a permanent number with which to bid. Customers also assume all risks when bidding on an item.
