Doosan Infracore America Corporation has announced the addition of four excavators and two wheel loaders to its line of heavy equipment. The DX Series of excavators — DX300LC, DX340LC, DX420LC and DX480LC — and DL Series of wheel loaders — DL300 and DL400 — have Tier III emissions ratings and are more durable, reliable and comfortable, according to the manufacturer.

To officially introduce these new models to the market, Doosan hosted a series of launch events in Dallas, TX, Charlotte, NC, and Cranbury, NJ. These events were for dealers and customers to receive DX and DL product training as well as machine operating time.

More than 300 people participated in the launches, where they experienced the power and capabilities of the Doosan DL wheel loaders and DX excavators. More than 40 dealer locations from across the country and more than 70 contractors were represented during the three events.

Participants spent several hours operating the machines and digging in the dirt. Excitement and energy was high during each of these events, while attendees participated in product walk-arounds and technical presentations, according to Doosan representatives.

In addition, Doosan and Daewoo will move to a single brand name, Doosan Infracore, on all machines and marketing material Jan. 1, 2007.
