Tim Shuttleworth, Eriez President and CEO, announced that Eriez achieved a new record in November for the highest monthly shipment volume in the company’s history.

“This new record beats our previous record for shipments by nearly 20 percent,” Shuttleworth said.

“2011 has been an all-around successful and prosperous year for Eriez,” said Shuttleworth. “This record-setting month is reflective of our overall growth.”

To meet demand in 2011, Eriez invested in major expansions in northwestern Pennsylvania and across the globe. In the United States, Eriez purchased an additional building in Erie, Pa., approximately 15 mi. from its world headquarters. Internationally, the company also is expanding in Canada, China, India and the United Kingdom.

Charlie Ingram, Eriez vice president of sales and marketing, said the company’s broad product offerings for many diverse industries contribute to Eriez’ unprecedented sales growth.

“When one market is soft, we have the ability to focus on another market that is thriving,” he said. “In addition, we are particularly pleased with the amount of growth witnessed by our Erie facilities. That’s good news for the region.”
