Exhibit space sales are now open for the 2007 World of Asphalt Show and Conference, which will be held March 19 to 22, 2007, at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta, GA.

More than 4,000 industry professionals from companies large to small are expected to attend World of Asphalt to examine the latest technologies and products, discuss product capabilities with industry suppliers and make purchasing decisions. World of Asphalt also offers attendees access to extensive education and training programming, and new for the 2007 event are operator certification programs.

World of Asphalt exhibit space rates include a “package plan” of exhibit-related services to help companies maximize their trade show investment.

New to the 2007 World of Asphalt is a new-product pavilion, offering exhibitors an additional opportunity to showcase their latest product innovations. World of Asphalt also has expanded its show sponsorship program to help companies further increase brand awareness among attendees.

“Our goal is to foster interaction between show buyers and sellers, for the benefit of both,” said Show Manager Melissa Magestro.

World of Asphalt attracts industry buyers and decision makers. Approximately 78 percent of attendees at the last show said they play a role in purchasing decisions, and a majority of attendee job classifications were upper management or manager/purchasing titles. Seventy-nine percent of attendees said that planned purchases were a direct result of what they saw exhibited at World of Asphalt.

Value Added Exhibitor Services

Several exhibit-related services are included in the show’s exhibit space rates to help reduce companies’ costs and maximize their exhibit experience. The exhibit space rates cover full drayage services (including the unloading/loading of all crated materials and machinery and delivery to exhibit spaces from the marshalling yard and pick-up at show close), general stand cleaning, and pipe and drape for standard inline exhibit stands.

Show management also provides a comprehensive “exhibitor marketing kit” of print and electronic tools, to help companies promote their show participation, as well as online listings in the show’s “virtual trade show,” inclusion in print show listings and complimentary access to pre- and post-show attendee lists.

New-Product Pavilion, Sponsorship Program Features

World of Asphalt 2007 exhibitors can display their “latest and greatest” in the show’s new-product pavilion, along with graphics and literature illustrating their function and purpose. Participants receive added exposure through special listings in the show directory, online “virtual trade show” and show publicity materials.

The show has expanded its sponsorship program in terms of eligible participants and number of sponsorship options. New sponsorship opportunities include shuttle buses, a cyber cafe and conference pens/notepads in addition to several other branding categories, and custom sponsorships also will be considered.

The World of Asphalt sponsorship program now also allows producer members of the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) to participate, in addition to exhibitors. Sponsors receive recognition on the World of Asphalt 2007 Web site, in the show directory and through on-site signage. They also will receive a quantity of complimentary customer registration badges.

NAPA is show co-owner along with the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA) and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), who also is show producer.
