Folcomer Equipment Corporation has hired Andy McConaughy as store manager for its Frederick, Md., store. McConaughy will primarily focus on business development and sales.

McConaughy comes to Folcomer Equipment Corporation with extensive management and sales experience. He most recently worked as a vice president for Potomac Garden Center (PGC). While at PGC, McConaughy managed the landscape division and supervised a staff of more than 30 people.

McConaughy is familiar with the construction equipment industry through his prior positions in outside sales with Standard Equipment and Theros Equipment.

“Andy is a great addition to our team. He has proven management and sales experience and will be able to take our business to the next level,” said Dave Folcomer, president and owner of Folcomer Equipment Corporation.
