Foley Promotes Ed Gudaitis to Rental Operations Manager

Susan Connolly, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Foley, the Caterpillar dealer in North Jersey and Staten Island, has announced the promotion of Ed Gudaitis to rental operations manager.

In his new role, Gudaitis will be responsible for all internal operations for the Rental Services division. He will oversee both the Piscataway and the Monroe Township facilities. In addition, Gudaitis will ensure that the operation of the rental business responds efficiently and effectively.

Gudaitis began his career with Foley in 1997 as a lift service field dispatcher, bringing with him three years of operational management experience and a certification from Engine City Tech.

In 1998, Gudaitis was promoted to lift service manager of the Piscataway, NJ, facility and then moved up to branch manager for the Carlstadt Lift division.

During his stint as branch manager, he graduated from the Caterpillar Flagship Program in March 2001 and in September 2001, Gudaitis was promoted to branch manager of Foley Rents.

Foley Rents was created six years ago and is an authorized dealer/distributor for rentals, sales, service and parts for Caterpillar, Terex/Amida, Multiquip, Rammax, CompAir/LeRoi, Genie, JLG, Ohio Screen Machine, ASV, MacDonald, Harlo, Target Saws, Partner, Mi-T-M, Eager Beaver and Wainroy/Woods.
