State Sen. Joseph Griffo, R-I-C-Rome, announced that he has secured $450,000 in funding for several projects in Rome.
The funding will be broken down as follows:
“This funding will help to improve public safety and will support essential repairs to several facilities in Rome,” Griffo said. “I know that these projects and initiatives will go a long way toward improving the quality of life of Rome residents and those visiting the city.”
“We would like to sincerely thank Senator Griffo for his continuous efforts to provide funding for capital improvements for municipally owned facilities, as well as his ongoing attention to enhancing the city's public safety agencies,” said Rome Mayor Jacqueline M. Izzo. “Through this funding, we will be able to make needed upgrades that will benefit all city residents and visitors to our community.”
