Jim Mackinson, owner of Mackinson Crane, Middlesex, NJ, recently added a new National telescoping crane to its growing fleet.
Mackinson purchased a Series 1400 crane from Mike Johnson, district manager, of Garden State Engine & Equipment Co. (GSE&E), Somerville, NJ.
The 33-ton (30 t) crane has a 127-ft. (39 m) five-section boom, which allows the operator to perform lifts without the use of a jib. This reduces setup time and improves efficiency.
The 1400 Series crane also features continuous rotation/glide swing and adjustable swing speed. It is ideal for mechanical and roofing contractors where reach is important.
In addition, this crane has the ability to cover a large territory, due to its roadability.
With this recent purchase, Mackinson Crane can offer its customers cranes ranging from 26 to 300 tons (23 to 270 t).
For more information, call GSE&E at 800/479-3857 or visit www. gseecrane.com. or call Mackinson at 866/703-LIFT (5438).
