Applied Machinery of North Carolina and Merlo, Italy, has chosen Garden State Engine & Equipment (GSE&E) as its dealer for the states of New Jersey, New York (including Long Island), Connecticut and eastern Pennsylvania. GSE&E is one of the first dealers to sign on to represent and distribute the Merlo product line in the United States.

GSE&E immediately began accepting delivery of the new Merlo telescopic and rotating telescopic forklifts. The product line has models along with numerous attachments to make material handling easier.

The panoramic telescoping forklifts range in size from the P25.6, a 5,500 lb. (2,495 kg) capacity, 19 ft. (5.8 m) lift height to the P120.10HM, a 26,000 lb. (11,793 kg) capacity with a 32 ft. (9.7 m) lift height.

The rotating telescopic forklifts range from the Roto 38.14, an 8,400 lb. (3,810 kg) capacity, 45 ft. (13.7 m) lift height to the Roto 40.30, an 8,800 lb. (3,992 kg) capacity with a 96 ft. (29 m) lift height.
