H&E Equipment Services Inc. (H&E) has been appointed as the authorized Takeuchi dealer for the entire state of Oklahoma and portions of Virginia, the Carolinas and Florida, effective Dec. 19. As a full-service dealership, H&E will provide sales, rentals, service, parts, warranty service and training.

H&E has 11 locations within this service area with full-service stores in Tulsa, Okla.; Oklahoma City; Roanoke, Va.; Winston-Salem, N.C.; Arden, N.C.; Charlotte, N.C.; North Charleston, S.C.; Columbia, S.C.; Jacksonville, Fla.; Fort Pierce, Fla.; and Pompano Beach, Fla.

Takeuchi Mfg. Company Ltd., was established in 1963 in Nagano, Japan. In 1971, Takeuchi began initial production of the world’s first compact excavator and in 1986 it introduced the first compact rubber-track loader to North America. Takeuchi now manufactures a full-line of compact excavators, compact rubber-track loaders and compact wheel loaders.

Takeuchi entered the U.S. market as Takeuchi Mfg. (U.S.) Ltd. in 1979 and has the distinction of being the first construction equipment manufacturer to introduce compact excavators and track loaders to the U.S. construction equipment market. Takeuchi U.S. has expanded seven times over the years and recently moved to a new 250,000 sq. ft., modern training, parts and machine distribution facility on 34 acres in Valentine Industrial Park, near Atlanta, Georgia.
