Harlo Products, a subsidiary of Harlo Corporation, a leader in the (RTFL) rough terrain forklift industry has recently appointed Anthony J. Lirones as its national sales and marketing manager to lead its sales and marketing department. Lirones will be based out of the company headquarters located in Grandville, Mich.

Tasked with further developing Harlo Products’ existing dealer partnership network, Lirones’s efforts will be concentrated on developing/administering new marketing strategies to grow the overall Harlo market share by applying his extensive sales and marketing experience acquired through his years in both the (OE) original equipment as well as (AM) aftermarket sectors.

With a background rooted in the powertrain industry (including diesel power, heavy equipment and specialty markets), he brings with him more than two decades of sales and marketing experience in addition to being very mechanically minded and technically savvy. His unique skill set will be useful to further cultivate territories, enhance customer support while focusing on working side by side with dealers to broaden their market, and strategically drive the development of new product offerings, according to the company.

Lirones said, “I am honored to be welcomed as part of Harlo Products leadership team. Being passionate about sales and marketing coupled with my hands-on background in the powertrain industry provides me with a unique skill set which will allow me to be extremely effective in this key role at Harlo Products.

“I look forward to working directly with Harlo’s existing dealers on programs to help them secure more business as well as developing dealers that have yet to be established. I am privileged to have this opportunity and look forward to expanding Harlo’s market penetration with its superior line of products that have become a staple in the forklift industry.

“With recently celebrating 75 years in business, with over three generations of privately held interest, Harlo Corporation’s history speaks volumes to its integrity as well as to its commitment to not just the Industry, but moreover to their customers — it’s unmatched and something I am proud to become a part of.”
