Shawn Atkinson has accepted the position of rental coordinator at the Highway Equipment Company Headquarters in Zelienople, Pa. Atkinson worked for Highway Equipment Company for 13 years in the service department from 1995 thru 2007. He returns to Highway Equipment Company after having worked for a major contractor in western Pennsylvania.

In his new position, Atkinson is responsible for coordinating the rental assets of Highway Equipment Company. He will schedule customer freight for rentals as well as internal freight for equipment transferred to Highway Equipment Company branch locations. He is responsible for tracking and trafficking of all equipment. He will assist Highway Equipment Company customers with their rental equipment needs. Atkinson also will communicate with the Highway Equipment Company service department on the set up, pre-delivery and inspection for all rentals.
