HosePower USA has named Jeff Peckeroff as manager of its Savannah operations. Peckeroff previously served the company as an outside sales representative.

HosePower Vice President Todd Jorgensen praised the decision, saying, “Jeff is perfect for this post. He’s organized and has a great vision, he knows the business, he’s a leader and he knows how to meet customers’ needs.”

Peckeroff’s experience in the industry was a key factor in his selection for the post.

“I’ve been in some form of the hose business for over 19 years, and I can’t imagine doing anything else,” he said. “Seeing our customers’ equipment running smoothly, issues solved, and people able to work efficiently, is a beautiful thing – and that’s what the hose service business is all about.”

Peckeroff’s background in local industry includes positions with Savannah Rubber & Gasket, Samson Industrial, Meier Transmission and Lewis, Goetz & Company. Concerning this experience, he said, “I started out sweeping the floors, then moved to counter sales, counter manager, shipping & receiving, sales associate and senior sales associate.”

HosePower initially brought its specialized onsite hydraulic hose service to Savannah in 2005, when it acquired Southern Power Hydraulics. At that time, the company was operating under the name Masthead Hose & Supply. In January of 2009, Masthead changed its name to HosePower USA. In addition to 24-hour mobile service, HosePower offers over-the-counter hose fabrication, industrial products, OEM hose manufacturing, and distribution opportunities for dealers of hose and fittings.

“HosePower is a real innovator in this field,” said Peckeroff. “All employees are trained to be very customer focused, solutions oriented, and quality minded. It’s great to work for a company that is doing so many things right.”
