Hoss Equipment Company, an independent dealer in heavy-construction and mining equipment, won the small to mid-sized business category at the Greater Dallas Chamber’s International Business Achievement Awards luncheon held in September.
The finalists in this category reflected the many possibilities in the area of international business, ranging from network communications providers to manufacturers of beauty supplies, heavy machinery and transportation equipment. Hoss Equipment stood out for clearly demonstrating its continued growth, impressive international expansion and efforts in serving the Greater Dallas community.
“It is a sincere honor to receive this award in recognition of the planning, hard work and long hours put in by a lot of people to make this achievement possible,” said Gregg Hoss. “We simply could not have supported increased sales to all corners of the world without continuing access to quality used equipment available through our global purchasing network. Our experienced team, dedicated to delivering and maintaining the highest quality standards, reworks the acquired machines at our Rebuild Center in Irving, Texas.
“We especially appreciate the significant contribution the Dallas Chamber has made over the years to facilitate the growth of Hoss Equipment Company in the international market,” Hoss continued. “Not only has the Dallas Chamber provided a number of great international resources and programs to help educate our employees, but they have also provided numerous introductions to experienced bankers, lawyers, governmental contacts and others with in-depth experience in getting international deals done –– which is much appreciated.”
