Iowa Mold Tooling Co. Inc. (IMT) recently made several enhancements to its Dominator field service vehicle and telescopic crane that are designed to make operators’ jobs easier.

The enhancements stem from the company’s commitment to listening to its customers, said Tim Worman, IMT product specialist.

“We recognize that our customers can help us design and build the hardest-working service equipment available,” he said. “Listening to our customers not only makes our products better, but it makes us a better company.”

IMT made several improvements to the operator’s work area on the Dominator field service truck, such as increasing the amount of workspace and providing greater accessibility to tools. Other improvements — such as new step design with a non-slip feature to aid the operator when stepping up into the loadbed and the addition of a single-handle latch on the tailgate — will improve the operator’s day-to-day mobility around the vehicle.
