Berry Companies Inc. announced the acquisition of Bobcat of Atlanta and Bobcat of Huntsville. The addition of these dealerships expands Berry Companies dealer network to eight divisions in eight states. Walter Berry, CEO, said, "I am pleased to share that we have closed on the acquisition of Bobcat of Atlanta and Bobcat of Huntsville.

Topcon Positioning Systems announced its longtime distribution partner, The Brandt Group of Companies, has reached an agreement with U.S.-based Ultara Holdings Inc. to acquire the Canadian assets of GeoShack Inc. and Inteq Distributors, subject to due diligence, effective June 1.

Galtney Partners and Regent Square Capital led the acquisition of Generator Source LLC, formerly known as Diesel Service and Supply. Based in Brighton, Colo., Generator Source is a provider of commercial standby generators and related services. Galtney and Regent Square acquired the company from founder and owner, Ed Vecchiarelli Sr., as part of an overall business succession and growth strategy for the company.

The Hansen Auction Group announced the acquisition of the Wayne Pike Auction Company and auction yard in Princeton, Minn. Hansen will continue to conduct four live auctions per year at the Princeton location and also offer many onsite and online only options for sellers in the Minnesota market.

Nesco Holdings Inc. , a provider of specialty rental equipment to the electric utility, telecom and rail end-markets, announced that it has closed the previously announced acquisition of Minnesota-based Truck Utilities Inc., a specialty rentals, service and truck upfitting company serving the electric transmission, distribution, telecom and other regional end-markets.

Compact Construction Equipment LLC, the authorized Bobcat equipment dealer in south, central and west Texas, has acquired Bobcat of Abilene. In business since the early 1960's, Bobcat of Abilene distributes Bobcat equipment in the Abilene, Sweetwater and San Angelo markets and operates a full-service rental store that provides earthmoving, landscape, concrete, compaction and aerial equipment.

Asphalt Materials Inc. , a leader in the asphalt industry, announced that it has acquired the Wisconsin based asphalt companies, HG Meigs and Meigs Transport. The acquisition allows Asphalt Materials Inc. to expand its capabilities and reach within the Midwestern market.

Metso has signed an agreement to acquire McCloskey International, a Canadian mobile crushing and screening equipment manufacturer, to expand Metso's offering in the aggregates industry globally and to strengthen the customer reach especially to general contractor customers.

NPK Construction Equipment (NPKCE), a subsidiary of Nippon Pneumatic Mfg. Co. LTD (NPK Japan), has announced that NPKCE has purchased Genesis Attachments LLC (USA), Genesis Holdings (Germany), and Genesis GmbH (Germany). "We are very excited about this new partnership because, like NPK, Genesis is a market leading attachment supplier with a focus on quality products," said Dan Tyrrell, president of NPK Construction Equipment.

Metso has successfully completed its acquisition of HighService Service, the service division of the Chilean mining engineering, construction and technology company HighService Corp. HighService Service offers its customers a variety of services from maintenance to commissioning and remote monitoring.

Alta Enterprises LLC dba Alta Equipment Co. , (Alta) has completed its acquisition of Northland Industrial Truck Co., Inc. (NITCO) and its construction equipment group Northland JCB. NITCO and Northland JCB will operate as wholly owned subsidiaries of Alta, with Alan Hammersley continuing as president and CEO of NITCO and Northland JCB now reporting to Ryan Greenawalt, president and CEO of Alta The acquisition of NITCO, previously announced on March 6, will provide Alta with six branch locations in five states in the New England market.
