Becoming a distributor for the Bagela asphalt recycler product line seemed a natural for Greensboro, N.C.-based Arrow Equipment, said Vice President/Sales Manager Gordon Johnson. Johnson said he got to talking with a representative of the German-made equipment at an AED event last year, and his interest was piqued.

Arrow equipment held an all-day paving seminar for its customers and prospects in its Columbia, S.C., office on April 6. It held a similar event at its office in Greensboro, N.C. Both events were centered on the company’s LeeBoy paving products account.

Arrow Equipment LLC, with locations in Greensboro, N.C., and Columbia, S.C., received the VT Leeboy Top Volume Dealer Award for 2008. David Carey and Jim Wagner, both of VT Leeboy, Lincolnton, N.C., visited Arrow Equipment on Aug. 6 to present the award to Larry Still, president, and Gordon Johnson, vice president and sales manager.

Midland Machinery has announced its top ten dealer award recipients for 2003. Ring Power Corporation of Florida, Arrow Equipment of North Carolina, Richmond Machinery and Equipment of Virginia, and Smith Materials & Equipment Co. of Louisiana, were among those honored.

A trio of Caterpillar dealers ––┬áCarolina CAT and Gregory Poole Equipment Co., both in North Carolina, and Blanchard Machinery Co.

Caterpillar dealers’ Carolina CAT, Gregory Poole Equipment and Blanchard Machinery have announced the acquisition of Arrow Equipment Inc., the Blaw-Knox, Hypac and Lull dealer for North Carolina. This move merges the strengths of a company with more than 40 years of experience in the paving and masonry business with one of the strongest paving product lines in the industry.
