The Kansas City Aviation Department joined the city of Kansas City, Mo., major airlines, developer Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate, Clark-Weitz-Clarkson, organized labor and business representatives March 25 to celebrate the long-awaited launch of the construction phase of a $1.5 billion modern single terminal at Kansas City International Airport.
