Jim Kapp started as Erb Equipment's Evansville, Ind., store manager, effective Sept. 17, 2018. Kapp has more than 30 years of experience in the Evansville area, primarily in product support positions, and most recently as product support sales manager.
Erb Equipment recently announced that Bill Haner has been hired as the new Paducah store manager. Haner has more than 20 years of industry experience, primarily in product support, including the past 17 years with another dealer. He started at the Paducah store June 15.
Approximately 120 people turned out for Erb Equipment's open house at its Cuba, Mo., location on April 20, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The new shop addition, which was completed in mid-January, was the site of lunch, which was made and served by Erb's sales team.
Erb Equipment's current Mt. Vernon, Ill., Service Manager, Branden Hallam, has been transferred to the Evansville, Ind., store to begin a new position as the Evansville store/service manager. In this role, Hallam will oversee all service operations and store operations, including parts, rental and administration.

Ralph Andrew Bucher, 52, of Paducah, died Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Baptist Health-Paducah. Ralph worked for Erb Equipment Company in sales and management. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Sue Babb Bucher; children, Morgan Ashley Bucher of Orlando, FL and Jordan Andrew Bucher of Paducah; sisters, Joyce Marie Seyer and Maryann Rose Garvey both of Jackson, MO; brothers, Wilfred Bucher of Oran, MO, Frank Bucher of Dardenne Prairie, MO, and Denis Bucher of Jackson, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
Erb Equipment Company held a grand opening celebration Nov. 6 for its new seven-acre facility in Owensboro, Ky. The new building, which was designed and built by Hartz Construction, a division of Scott & Murphy, is 16,800 sq. ft., and boasts nine service bays with 10-ton overhead cranes.
By the end of 2015, more than one million pounds of garbage will be removed from the Ohio River. That feat will be accomplished by Chad Pregracke and Living Lands & Waters, with the help of their new John Deere 210G LC excavator. John Deere is a longtime supporter of Living Lands & Waters.
