To better support customers and leverage the power of its wholly-owned network, Komatsu has created a new structure in North America to strengthen the growth of company-owned distributor branches. A new corporate unit within Komatsu has been created and effective immediately, all company-owned distributor locations will be branded simply "Komatsu" to reflect their inclusion in the company's global footprint.

Bomag Americas Inc. and Komatsu America Corp. announced that Komatsu's six company-owned dealerships (Edward Ehrbar, Komatsu Equipment Company, Komatsu Northeast, Komatsu Southwest, Midlantic Machinery and Pine Bush Equipment) have entered into an arrangement for the sale and support of Bomag compaction, milling, paving and reclaiming/stabilizing equipment for roadbuilding and other construction markets.

Komatsu America Corp. and its distributor, Komatsu Northeast, announced the completion of Komatsu CARE's 100,000th service interval. Komatsu America pioneered complimentary maintenance for Tier IV machines in the construction industry with the launch of Komatsu CARE in 2011.

The PBE Group, consisting of Pine Bush Equipment Co. Inc. and East PBE Inc., entered into a purchase agreement Feb. 5, 2018, with Komatsu, through its subsidiary F and M Equipment Ltd., to purchase the assets of PBE group subject to a period of due diligence and final approval of Komatsu Ltd.

The newest addition to Sennebogen's dealer network in America offers customers a support team with more 12 years' experience with Sennebogen equipment. The business operations of the former Binder Machinery has been relaunched as Komatsu Northeast.

Komatsu America Corp., a leading global heavy equipment manufacturer today announced the company has formed a new business unit (Komatsu Northeast) and will assume Komatsu's trade territory for the state of New Jersey effective immediately. This includes all Komatsu construction, mining and utility equipment sales and rentals, parts, service and customer support activities.

It was announced Aug. 1 by Edward Ehrbar Inc. principals Patrick J. Ahern, president, and Matthew J. Ahern, executive vice president, that they have entered into a definitive agreement to form a new business unit with "Ehrbar" becoming an operating division of Komatsu America Corp., Rolling Meadows, Ill., a subsidiary of Komatsu LTD., the world’s second largest manufacturer and supplier of earthmoving equipment.
